Little Crofters Pre-school (3-4 years)
Children move into our ‘Pre-school’ classroom from the age of 3 (the academic year of their 4th birthday). Pre-school offers a wealth of new, challenging learning opportunities in a more structured learning environment, the next academic step up from the self-initiated play of 'Butterflies'.
Our spacious classrooms with free-flow access to our adjacent all-weather outdoor area ensures your child has exciting learning opportunities. Children attend for a minimum of 3 morning sessions, although research shows the benefit of attending 5 mornings, to experience a balanced blend of adult-directed and child-initiated activities.
Weekly visits to the School's Sports Hall enable exciting opportunities for gymnastics, games and dance. Your child will also benefit from weekly French, Music and Forest School sessions led by specialist School staff and a visit to the Pre-Prep library.
Your child will join School staff for a delicious, nutritionally balanced lunch in the School's dining room where good table manners are encouraged.
Positive behaviour, confidence and independence are nurtured in all children, enabling your child to move happily into Reception.
